I believe my name was Iriko. I was twenty years old. My life used to be normal, getting teased by my sisters, becoming their work-slave, that type of thing. But while I was acting as an errand boy, I ended up dying... or that's what I thought. The next thing I knew, I was in a forest, somehow alive. Now there was a problem. I've become a baby dragon, and I have no idea of who I once was. ------------------------- Alright, so bear with me. This is my first attempt at writing a story. I was inspired by a certain other Japanese light novel, so you may notice some similarities (Or maybe not). Any forms of criticism are welcome. Drop a comment if anything seems like shit. No really, call it a complete waste of human intellect undeserving to be read even by the most pitiful of worms if that's how you feel.

There was a time when the king of the human world raged war between humans and dragonkind, forcing their rulers to seal the portal between both worlds and leave the one thing they loved above all else behind. Now, in a land full of turmoil, one huntress learns of her bloodline and how she alone has the ability to harness her dragon's power and save both lands. Will she be able to free the human citizens from their tyrant leader and save her own people from extinction? Or will she fall prey to those wanting to use her powers for their own greed? *Currently working on re-writes of this story. Marcie is an oddity in her village, the daughter of a widower with both village and outsider blood in her veins. She cares for her drunken father, and struggles to fit in with the rest of the village. Everything changes when she comes across two dragons, a mother and her new born, and unwittingly becomes the Tamer of the baby dragon when his mother dies. This new unlikely bond completely changes her life and opens doors to her future that she would have never thought possible whilst also causing her pain and heartache.
