During the day, the people itself is an amazing sight to watch and during the night, it seems like the world has changed and a new aura of brilliance arise. A new girl has moved to Ikebukuro with her sister and blends in very well with the city. By morning she is a casual baker but by night, a killer. She has a twisted back story along with a twisted purpose. Nobody understands her completely because of how secretive she is and this has intrigued none other than Izaya Orihara himself. He is constantly wheeled to a dead end trying to find out about this girl. But he won't stop. He is determined to find out everything there is about this new girl in town.

Camelot was thriving until an event shook it to the core. Uther's death. Uther has been slain by a mysterious assassin; all the assassin left was a dead spider next to the body. Leaving destruction and pain behind, shaking all of Camelot who just wants answers. Discover Arthur and Merlin. Discover their journey together. Discover their love. At the end of the book 1, When You Least Expect It, (which if you haven't read yet, go read it,) Arthur was killed in battle by Mordred. Now, in this modern AU 1000 years later, Arthur finally rises again. The only problem is, what about the prophecy? When Albion's need is greatest? What will happen when Merlin's world threatens to collapse, and Arthur's the only one able to stop it? What will happen to their future together? (I still don't own the characters or the book cover. Merlin and Arthur are their usual sarcastic selves, and with a little help from Gwaine and Leon, learn about feelings for each other that they didn't know they had. The portal takes them to the New York Institute where their aunt lives. They can't go back to their homes for safety reasons and they can't get in touch with their mother. The adult shadowhunters at the Institute take them in and tell them that until their mother finds them then they must stay. On the verge of adult hood the children agree to stay until they turn eighteen. Or until she finds them.

In case you couldn't tell from the title, this is an Arthur and Merlin Fanfiction. Arthur falls in love with Merlin, and Merlin with Arthur. Merlin uses his magic to keep an eye on Arthur as he stays with Gwen, but what will happen? What will Merlin discover about Arthur? This story is based on the S02E02 of Merlin.
