Hanahaki is an illness caused by one-sided love. The victim has very strong feelings for a certain person, yet that person is unaware or unable to return those feelings. When this happens, the victim starts coughing petals of any kind of flower. This can and will cause death, if not treated. Shigaraki Tomura has no idea what to do.

Bakugou acts all tough but under that layer of toughness there is a layer of depression, self bout, self harm, endless nights of crying and starving himself until it hurt. Deku was born deaf, but he been having surgery to his ears. He been told one of his ears is better then the other so he has to use a hearing aid so he be able to actually hear. He knows sign language, he could also write. Still speaking was hard. So he was also mute. Deku only knew few words. Kacchan doesn't know deku was deaf. (In this au I'm making it seem like they aren't childhood friends, but they seem their mother talk and drink coffee or tea together but deku was always far away from Kacchan. But they still have nickname for each other.)

Bakugou has been secretly going deaf for years but finally one day after years he completely loses his hearing.
