(DISCONTINUED) In a world where there are both humans and monsters living, there has been great hate and division between the two species. Recently though, laws have been passed to integrate monsters back into society. But because of the fear of monsters being dangerous, all monsters at the age of nine are required by law to live in an Integration Camp for several years, where they learn how to be more civilized and live with humans again. And of course, Max thinks it is all absolute bullshit. (discontinued due to not being into cc anymore, also I forgot about this fic for like 2 years lol, but I might still write for danganronpa and soul eater in the future^^)

In the month following the end of summer, it's the final straw for Max's parents. Unwilling to "deal" with their son anymore, Max was supposed to be sent to a far away place. Supposed to be. Before anyone could catch him, he ran as far as his little legs could carry him. He ran to the only person he could think of that wouldn't completely neglect him. David. Max has lived a hard life, and can't take any more abuse, so when camp is close to its end, David got rather suspicious that something might be going on with max. Max refuses to tell David, and in doing so goes back with his abusive family. Max then decides to leave his family after a painful beating he had received. He then runs away to find David. (Not completed yet)

Max has a secret he'd prefer no one find out about, but when matters fall out of his own hands will Max be able to stay cool or will he finally crack.

It was the last day of summer camp. All of the Children's parents had come that day to pick them up. Max's parents, however, had arrived late to bring him home. David noticed that Max had been very much against the idea of going home. However, David doesn't think much of it at the time. Max may still hate David, but he soon comes to realize that David may be his only hope...(Yeah uh, I don't know what else to put in this horrible description, so I guess read the story to find out more..? This is something I wrote a long time ago and doesn't really represent me now. You guys can read it but the child abuse might be triggering. Also I don't believe I handled a lot of the subjects in here the right way.

As the days grew closer to the last day of camp, David started to see a change in Max's behavior. When the day finally arrived, David saw just how terrible Max's parents actually were. Now David has to fight to get Max in to a loving home.
