Deku was born deaf, but he been having surgery to his ears. He been told one of his ears is better then the other so he has to use a hearing aid so he be able to actually hear. He knows sign language, he could also write. Still speaking was hard. So he was also mute. Deku only knew few words. Kacchan doesn't know deku was deaf. (In this au I'm making it seem like they aren't childhood friends, but they seem their mother talk and drink coffee or tea together but deku was always far away from Kacchan. But they still have nickname for each other.)

Izuku Midoriya was born without a special power or quirk, but when he dies to save a girl, a few goddesses may just bring him back with the power to save those who can't save themselves. Because of the costume change Deku personality changed. At first they thought he was just acting, so they dared him to wear it for the whole week of the festival. To there surprise he 'stayed' in character. But what happens when Deku's sick and the class finds his medical records by accident. What will they discover behind those green eyes... After a tragic incident leaves Izuku Midoriya almost completely blind, he must learn to cope with his limited vision in order to fulfill his dream to become the #1 hero. I did change the timing of some events in the story to make them fit a little better, so don't be shocked if it seems like I've forgotten something I probably just timed it differently than the anime/manga.
