Because then it meant his attention was on her and her alone. She leaned in closer and closer. She could see his beautifully crystalline green eyes piercing through her own bluebell ones. She tucked his hair around her fingers and ran them through again. It was just so soft... OR The better and longer version of 'Intoxicating'.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng has spent years ignoring everyone judging her. Based on looks and lies no one really expected her to become someone in the world. The Parisian holds everyone at arm's length, not worrying about swaggering, haughty classmates as she focuses on keeping her head down- until she meets Damian Wayne. Damian Wayne is not jealous of the smart, likable, reserved- but still excitable Parisian that he shares almost every class with. He isn't. He refuses to deal with such a naïve and substanceless girl- until she corrects him in class. Damian gets payback, correcting her as he sees fit. He refuses to lose to such an unworthy opponent. She will not win. Marinette is more than prepared to stand her ground.

Just some Daminette Oneshots. Just ideas because I love this ship. Originally I shipped the love square, but I got bored waiting for them and Adrien said to take the high road, and my baby Marinette deserves better. As for Luka, I always shipped him with Kagami, even more so than with Marinette. And one day, I found a crossover. It was Daminette. Now it's my favorite ship. They present themselves as opposites, but they both have an underlaying steel and overall bad ass persona. It's a lovely match.
