This story takes place before the pope incident and after meeting Melty. The four cardinal hero's, including Naofumi, were summoned to the castle by the king for Malty, or Myne, has stirred up trouble.......again and the king demands why Naofumi has taken his beloved second daughter. Well......that was the plan until a portal opened and suddenly stepped out.......wait.........WHAT!?!?!?! ( This story does not follow the story after the event of meeting Melty )

Naofumi aka the Shield Hero has suffered some major bullshit,but this time would be the most sufferable. On the night that should've been used to celebrate the successful end to the first wave he is instead challenged by Motoyasu. He ends up losing to Motoyasu (because of Foul Play) now Raphtalia is removed from his party and freed,but that isn't the only thing he loses.
