You're a retired veteran currently going to college and studying in the medical field when it all happens. It starts off slow and rapidly increases. You decide your best course of action is to find your family and go from there, but when you finally find your old home it's completely ransacked. You frantically search for any family member at all, and you find your mother. She lies limp on the ground and standing by her is a woman. I don't plan to do any Fanfic in the future (but I didn't plan to do Fanfic now, either) this character just intrigued me. Nothing against Fanfic, of course. It can be a great way to exercise your imagination. I'd just like to make my own characters and explore with that. This is my very first Fanfic and published story so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Anyways, this shouldn't matter much to you, so get on with the story!
