In only two decades, the pods have become an instant household name. An affordable mini bus that contains a device, or "pod", which allows the user to imagine anything into a mind-boggling realistic virtual world. The only down side to the pods are : there are no down sides. The pods are virtually 101% safe. But no matter how great a statistic is, the pods do indeed have a dark side. *** Howard Hackett is an 18-year old engineer with depression. Howard would want nothing more than to be with his pod. But that all changes when his mysterious and beautiful new client walks into his life. Howard soon finds himself inspecting hardware he has never seen before in his life. As he does, Howard unintentionally finds himself stringed into a web filled with lies, deception, corruption, and death.
