Marauders Era Fanfic: This story is set in The Marauders Era, and is told in the perspective of different characters. I have started off with telling the story from Remus' point of view, but will in time create the other parts of the story told in the perspective of Sirius, James, Peter, Lily, and possibly even Regulus. The Longbottoms are dead and the war is over, mostly. Just a story of mostly post first war (no azkaban) Wolfstar, but also Peter (the not-traitor) trying to find his way, Jily shenanigans, Dorcas searching for Marlene and Marlene searching for Dorcas, Minerva finding someone in the task she's assigned who changes her world, and Augusta Longbottom maybe slightly falling in love with the stern, smart, caring woman who comes to help care for Neville Longbottom, the Boy Who Lived, though she would never admit it.

"It's like I wanting to fly. You want to fly, so much, but how can you fly if you don't have wings? I want to see the beauty, the colours, everything, but how can you see if you don't have eyes?" Remus Lupin is blind. He used to be able to see, but after he was knifed in an alleyway at age 7 because his father was caught up in gang business, his eyes were destroyed. He knows how to live, how to get around London effectively, but he's been treated differently, as if he's an invalid. He just wants to be seen as a normal human being, but no one apart from his best friends can see him this way. Until Sirius comes along.
