They were both in love. They were both in a relationship. Just not with each other. Society will hate you. They will judge you, attack you. She was well aware that she was engaged to the man she loved. She was well aware that both families had high hopes for her. She was well aware that her feelings were not right. Her mind said no, but her heart said yes. "What about her?" Sumedh thought. For five whole years they had been together. They had loved each other, helped each other, be there for each other through thick and thin. When faith gambled. Coincidence and accident. What can they do about it? Stick to morals and expectations? Or play along and gamble? *** "Kavya!" I heard my mother shout. "If you take one more step, don't even think to ever come back to this house again!" I watched as drops of water poured over his beautiful face. My heart had never been so heavy yet so hurt. "This is wrong!" He shouted. But he didn't move or remove his gaze from me. My feet were moving against my will, in attempt to close the gap between me and him. It is wrong "It has aways been wrong." My voice were shaking. "Kavya please..." Sumedh pleaded. "I won't be able to control myself." He said that, but he opened both of his arms for me. I realized now. Our minds said no, yet our hearts were craving for each other. "Kavya, get back inside!" he commanded. "You'll get sick!" "No." "KAVYA!" My mother shouted on top her lungs, her voice racing with the thunder. "I love you..." Sumedh murmured softly, before turning away and ran from me. He always ran away. Note: This story is inspired by a 2002 Dream Street movie The Biggest Fan.
