Dakota is just like every other 17 year old high school senior. Or that's what everyone thinks. Everyone sees Dakota as this funny, sarcastic, and caring girl. What people don't see is how much she is truly suffering inside. People don't know that the smile she always wears is completely fake. They don't know what's really going on at home. They don't see the bruises she has to cover up every morning. They don't see her having to step up to take care of her two younger siblings. She puts on a fake smile as soon as she walks through the school doors and slowly builds her walls up higher as each day goes on. She thinks no one will ever see past her facade...that is, until three new bad boys come strolling into town taking an automatic interest in Dakota. And one certain bad boy can read her like an open book. Will Dakota eventually let these three bad boys in? Or will she keep everything in until she finally reaches her breaking point? "First things first, learn how to loosen up. If you really want to learn, you can't be so uptight." He said as he circled around me. "It's just weird, I'm not used to it." I said shyly. He stopped, standing in front of me. He sighed. "Look Gracie, I'm not saying you should be totally open and comfortable with this, but I'm saying, if you want to learn, you're going to have to learn to trust me. Do you trust me?" I hesitated, then nodded lightly. "Good." He said with a small smirk. "Now lesson one," he started to circle me again, "You're going to learn how to kiss." (cover by: BeautyDoesntWither)

"So this was all just a game to you . . .this whole time, you pretended to like me in order to humiliate me in front of the entire school?" An air of melancholia surrounded me, eyes watery like never before. "Were your feelings for me ever real?" There wasn't even a trace of an apologetic expression on his features as he tucked his hands in his pockets, before he gave a nonchalant shrug. The sudden urge for revenge became a prominent priority. He regarded me passively. "It's not my fault that you fell for me in the first place." he justified as he advanced my way, closing the gap between us. Unstably, I strode backwards on the concrete. ". . .stay back." I whimpered. "You're nothing but cold hearted." ·•● Two years ago, Emery Roy was tragically exposed to what some could call an intense betrayal all thanks to the originator - Dean Darnell. So to avoid him at all cost, she did what any person would do: transfer school. Fast forward two years later. What happens when she's returning back to Roosevelt High, for the first time during senior year? She only has a few tasks: avoid Dean and face her obstacles. The only question is will she succeed or will she get fooled again? Boy next door is charming. Boy next door is dangerous. Boy next door is on house arrest. * * * * * They've been neighbors for as long as Juliet can remember. You'd think being neighbors, they would have been friends by now. Not the case. They've been sworn enemies since Jack dumped sand down her shirt in the 1st Grade. Juliet Sanders lives next door to Jack McKinnon, the boy on house arrest for being the prime suspect in a murder investigation. That's only because his father paid off the judge, of course, or he'd be behind bars until the trial. The McKinnon family stays in the spotlight. Jack's mom is a famous author, his dad a movie producer. Juliet watches Jack. Whether if he's going for a swim or walking laps around the house at 3 in the morning. Something always piqued her curiosity. It takes Juliet getting locked out of her house to finally face the mysterious boy next door. And he's definitely not rainbows and butterflies. Juliet's curiosity may just get her in trouble. *Slowly editing FULLY* Note: KKKANGAROO has been really kind and has helped me edit some chapters. :)

COMPLETED. R-RATED MATURE CONTENT. STEAMY. "I'm your property now, aren't I?" I let out in a hiss. I didn't know where that defiance had suddenly come from, but I relished in the feeling. And the narrowing of his blazing eyes and the slight twitch of his lips gave me the answer that I needed. "Welcome to the mafia, signorina." - Lies. Lust. Deception. In the somber world of 1924's Italian mafia, only the strongest can survive. Beneath the upbeat glamor of the Roaring Twenties in New York City, with its glittery feathers and blood-red lips and fancy cocktails, there lies a twisted world that the ritzy population knows nothing about. Suddenly, poverty-ridden Antonia is thrown into the turbulent reality of violence and deception that lies within one of the most feared mafia families on the East Coast: the Berettis. And what's worse is the sudden take of interest in her of every member in that damned family. Including that of the revered and dangerous Marco Beretti, son of the Don. But then, Antonia realizes that her part in this mafia is much, much bigger than she'd ever expected. And it may just cost her her life. - THIS STORY IS RATED MATURE. COMPLETED. A tear slides down my cheek and my assaulter stands upright again, sending me a smirk as he wipes the tear away. His canines are splattered with scarlet blood -my blood- and when I touch the place he bit me with my finger, it comes back covered in red. "I'll see you soon, Cami. You'll see, things will only be more exciting from here." He turns his back to me to walk away but suddenly stops, turning his head back to me. "Has your sister mentioned me at all?" My mouth falls open and no sound comes out so he just shakes his head with a laugh. "Ah... she likes to keep me a secret. Until the next, Camilla..." And with that, he is gone right before my eyes. It's as if the bubble pops because when I close my eyes and open them again, the halls are completely empty and I'm panting against the wall. I bring my hand to the bite on my neck. Nothing. It comes back clean. A terrified sigh escapes my lips and I slide down the wall, staring into emptiness. °°°° Copyright All Rights Reserved@2016 Sophia Kjeldbjerg
