Estranged and different from those in her village, Evie is an aspiring inventor who wants to travel the world. She has never felt at home in her town and usually stays to herself. But when her father mysteriously vanishes on his trip to the neighboring village, Evie is forced to get the other villagers to view her as something other than strange in order to find her father.
