It's year four for Harry and his friends, and Voldemort has returned with a sinister plot to gain more Death Eater followers through the Triwizard Tournament. There's only one problem: Sirius has put his significant political clout to good use by insisting that an external committee entirely made up of parents oversee the tasks and make sure they are as safe as possible, and that the goblet of fire be altered to allow forfeits, and different school champions be selected for each of the now seven tasks. With Severus risking his life spying on Voldemort once again, Sirius and his friends and allies intend to make the most of the information he gains. The year is not going to be as smooth as everyone wants, though, with an unexpected creature inheritance and new powers for someone, and teenage hormones really messing up the emotions of every one of the trio and their friends. ~~~~~ Book four of my series rewrite, with more tasks and champions as promised. Almost totally different to canon now, except that Dumbles is still manipulative and intent on making Harry a martyr, whether he's a Horcrux or not.

Harry and his friends have survived the first two years of Hogwarts, and fully expect this year to be a peaceful one. We all know that's not going to happen. In this case, two Death Eaters have decided that it's the perfect time to break out of Azkaban to seek out the Dark Lord somewhere in Albania. These two criminals were the cause of anguish for many of Harry's friends, and it's up to him to keep them from losing it completely. Not to mention there's still the whole Horcrux thing, and the Goblins have uncovered an ancient ritual that could pinpoint the remaining portions of Voldy's soul, but they have no Horcruxes at the moment, so they're stuck. ~~~~~ Book three in my series rewrite, and things are changing much more quickly (And successfully at times) than in canon.

Starts off after the war, and students are returning to Hogwarts. How will our heros and villians cope with the new year.

As if Harry's year wasn't bad enough already. Now he has to have a Potions tutor too? Why can't the universe be on his side for once? Oh yeah... he's Harry Potter. Set during 6th year. The Marauders are starting their fifth year at Hogwarts; Remus is starting with a massive scar across his face - a byproduct of the increasing severity of his furry little problem, which is a definite cause for concern despite his insistence that it it's fine. Sirius is starting with the memories of a certain morning at 12 Grimmauld Place in August: memories that he might not ever forget, yet is desperate to cloak underneath the facade that every is fine at home and that he and his parents just sometimes encounter minor disagreements. James is starting his fifth year, yes, but more importantly, he is starting phase five of his plan to woo Lily Evans: somehow his friends seem doubtful that he might succeed, but James, being James, is in no lack of confidence. And Peter, well, Peter is starting to wonder just why he puts up with these people, and if he should really be feeling sorry for Lily Evans, and maybe if he should have asked to have been sorted into Hufflepuff.

Harry is back at Hogwarts for yet another year with his friends, but instead of the excitement that he usually feels to be returning to his beloved home, he finds himself feeling nervous. He isn't sure why because everything is going well for him: he's doing well in his studies, he's got the girl he had always dreamed of and he and his friends are closer that ever, so why does he has a nagging feeling of worry? Enter Draco Malfoy, the school heart-throb, blonde hair and grey eyes. He makes all the girls swoon, yet for some strange reason Harry feels something more than hatred towards the slytherin. As they always said, there's a very thin line between love and hate. Throw in some problems with Ginny, arguments with his friends, and countless encounters with his nemesis Draco Malfoy and you get the year where everything is about to change!
