Their first semester focuses more on academics, while the second focuses on strengthening their powers, combat skills, and training to become pro heroes in the future. Ouma and Kiibo compete on becoming the greatest hero, but they still help and care for each other as "friends", though their friendship eventually grows into something more than that.
