Biscuits. Scones. Candies. Cookies. Sandie is living in a world of sugar and spice, unhappily in Teapot Terrace. Facing a place full of sunshine and unrelenting cheer is NOT her cup of tea, literally. Until a new face arrives on the school bus one morning, Sandie's world is turned upside down. Is this place really all it's cracked up to be? or is there a reason behind the sweet scent of this delightful little town.

At sixteen, Adira was banished to the island of Banau after committing treason: saving the life of her brother, the Crown Prince, with witchcraft. For the past five years, the only visitors to Banau have been those after the bounty placed on her head. Until a boat arrives, carrying an injured young woman, her two brothers, and her husband. Adira finds herself using her witchcraft to heal instead of kill again, stirring up feelings she thought she'd long buried. Her price is simple: leave Banau, tell no one what she did, and never return. Zarad, one of the brothers, ignores her wishes and decides to stay and serve Adira for one year. The price was not fair, and she needs someone. Adira is convinced she needs no one and wants him gone, but he might be even more stubborn than she is. He might also be right.

Authors Note: If you like stories about friendships/interactions between humans and extraterrestrials/aliens who deal with the human adventure (e.g. TV shows like "Mork & Mindy," "My Favorite Martian," "3rd Rock from the Sun," and even "Perfect Strangers") this is right up your alley! While the characters used are from the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) the setting takes place in an alternate timeline. FYI: This story deals with the death of two characters. Sensuality and a brief but mild scene with implied sex between two characters. ********** The sequel to "My Friend Loki" is still not completed, so this is yet another sequel to that upcoming sequel. The inspiration for this story came from another writer's challenge on Instagram, this time hosted by new friends @iamcawright and @sandysmithauthor. Written in third person instead of first. Loki and his friend have made plans to get together for Valentine's Day, which is soon approaching. However, Loki questions his worth in the friendship after experiencing a series of distressing nightmares. Then an irrevocable situation transpires. The members from the initiative are featured as well as Loki's brother from another mother. (Cover artwork by Nicole Rebbert.) [Originally published February 20 2019]

A scene featuring a character suffering from an anxiety attack which is triggered. A few scenes with mild sensuality. ********** Since the sequel to 'My Friend Loki' was not ready, instead, I present the following work which is actually a sequel to that upcoming sequel. The inspiration for this came from a writer's challenge from my friend on Instagram @markswears - which came a the right time! With my sequel not ready, I was at a loss and I wanted to have something to post for the holidays! Written in third person instead of first. Loki's friend finds herself in a frightening situation. After all the times Loki has had to rely on her, the tables have turned. The brother from another mother also plays a role, making a decision Loki's not too fond of, and we meet with a group of people again that were first introduced in the vignette "Mischief Night" (from 'The Loki Chronicles').
