Well in this book it turns out it's just Poseidons daughter, with a little someone you might know as the mother. But Sally ends up adopting the neglected child as her own. After they find out who she is and Percy developes a small relationship with her of course. Yet of course though Sally is pregnant with another girl (Trials Of Apollo spoilers sorry). Anyways being poseidons daughter and Famous Percy Jacksons sister isn't easy, especially when one monster especially wants Samarah dead.
