(Treebros) After Evan shows up at his locker asking for his history notes, Connor starts falling in love with the anxious boy. But things get complicated when Evan's abusive dad shows up.

CW; suicide attempt, homophobia, homophobic slurs, depression, anxiety, etc. This is basically just a super cheesy and mushy fanfic involving Connor and Evan from DEH. There might also be some Jared x Alana in here as well, but I haven't quite made up my mind yet. This is an AU where Connor never died when he tried to take his own life, so there won't be any death-angst. There will eventually be a suicide attempt by Connor for reasons I haven't figured out yet.

Evan Hansen watched the taller boy take off with his letter, thoughts of what he might do with it rushing through his mind and encouraging him to pursue the thief. He manages to keep up, unaware that his small interaction with the dark character would cause a friendship to blossom between them. ~ COMPLETE DEH AU where Evan befriends Connor. Evan would update his blog daily, talking about any struggles and successes, doing it for himself as a way to vent his emotions. It never occurred to him that anyone else would be reading it, and that they were feeling the same way as him.
