My heart stopped and my stomach caved in. I felt like I couldn't breathe. My hand covered my mouth as I gasped for air. "She's my best friend," I sobbed as tears streamed down my face, "this can not be real." Cyrus Goodman and TJ Kippen seem to be the most unlikely pair. Cyrus likes to read books and watch TV in his free time. He has good grades all around and never misses a day of school. While TJ, on the other hand, loves sports and always wants adventure. TJ doesn't have the best grades and would much rather be home than at school. One day the two meet and form an unbreakable bond.

Cyrus's father just passed away. His mom got a job in another town, so they move to Shadyside. He doesn't think anything will ever make him smile and be happy again until he meets his true love.

CYRUS GOODMAN was tired of unrequited love, and it seemed like he would be the only Junior at Grant that would be stuck without a date. However bad he though third wheeling was, seventh was much, much worse. TJ KIPPEN had been pining after his best friend for months, but (with the exception of his sister,) he was the only one who knew. If only he could be honest about his feelings without fearing judgement. The two boys were perfect for each other, yet they were the only ones who didn't see it. Tired of the mutual obliviousness, their friends cook up a plan to help them realize what they had. One fateful summer can change everything. [STARTED 3/4/19]
