This is a Newtmas fanfic. Its basically the maze runner story, but with NEWTMAS becoming canon. Hope you like it!

Thomas wakes up in a box and he doesn't know how he got there. He soon finds himself in the safe haven of the Glade. There is one other thing, or person, that makes Thomas content with his knew life, but he doesn't want to admit it. Thomas and Newt met when they were younger, (7 years old to be exact) they thought what they did was right, kiss each other on the cheek and hold hands. Thomas' parents thought it was the most adorable thing in the world, aside from Newts parents, well, not so much. Thomas never saw Newt after that, he never got to keep in touch, which broke his heart. Until, 11 years later, he saw him at last, at a very bad time, but the right time to save the love of his life, as he thought over the years. (Trigger warning)

I won't tell you much but Newt goes to a mental hospital and he meets... Thomas... Thomas was shy at first but once he got closer to Newt... You'll find out. :)

(NOTE: CONTAINS SPOILERS) Thomas had always stared at Newt behind the screens of WICKED. When Newt was sent up, he gave up all hope of ever seeing him again. As things got worse, however, Thomas was tasked to go up to the Glade himself. But every cloud has a silver lining.

This is the story of the boy named Thomas having to see his love suffer everyday in the glade and not being able to comfort him when he's hurt. Will Thomas go in the maze and find a way out? Will he tell his love he actually loves him? How will there romance stick together through it all? Or will the truth even be told? !1st book!

(Slight spoilers for TFC, but if you don't know what to look for you won't even know!) Thomas has been in the maze a little while now, and both he and Newt have unexpressed feelings for each other. Things suddenly turn upside down and everyone is dying around them, it's almost like the maze isn't a good place for a relationship. Times are tough, people are breaking, the maze is breaking, the answer to escape is just a sacrifice away! Can they get out? If so, how? What's out there? Who will make it?
