Frank Iero has always been different than the other kids at school. He's always pushed his differences aside but that only caused him to drown in his own oppression and lead to nothing other than depression. At the end of his senior year he decides to do something that would change his life forever.

Frank is an angsty asshole, at least that's what he lets on to be, When Gerard becomes his roommate he can't tell if he's happy or not. Don't speak. Don't touch my stuff. Without permission of course. Those were some of Franks rules for the quiet little redhead with the cute butt that just wants to write gay fanfiction. You can probably guess they get attached, but how? And what's next? Gerard Way is pissed, beyond mad. Completely furious to the point where it is concerning. The only thing on his mind is revenge, revenge against the people who killed his wife and daughter. He will do anything to avenge them, even if that means taking down the whole corporation. Which also means killing the leader of the group, the infamous and dangerous Frank Iero.

Frank and Gerard were childhood friends. And then they were enemies. Finally, they became strangers. They'd been friends though, and maybe they'd been a little too affectionate, because everyone thought the two of them would get married someday. Before they became enemies, they had even agreed to use each other as a backup plan. If, by the time they both reached their thirtieth year, they hadn't found someone to marry, they'd marry each other. They have thirty three days left. THIS STORY IS INTENDED FOR 18+ AUDIENCES. Gerard Way, the saddest sap at Belleville High School, is caught crying in the bathroom stall by the one and only Frank Iero. It's then, in the ever horrid high school bathroom, that an unlikely match is made.

It's the lake in November, and the move closer to the ocean, and Gerard's fixation, and Gerard's compulsions like tidal waves dragging him down, and Mikey's more distant than ever: like they're drifting out into the middle of the ocean, whereas Gerard's just stuck there: water turning to quicksand around him, drowning. And it's the letter; Frank finds it on the floor of the boys' bathroom on the first floor. It's dropped in accident, perhaps from a pocket or something, and it's drenched in what Frank hopes is tap water, and the words: scrawled in blue ink are difficult to make out as the words join together in a fuzzy inky mess. The only paragraph legible is the final one, and even still, it barely is: 'I've been underwater for a long time now, but I'm not drowning, I'm beginning to think I can breathe like this, but I can't, I'm gasping for breath, and I have to do this, Mikey, I have to end this myself. I'm going to the lake on the 1st of November, don't wait for me... I'm not coming back.' And the name signed at the bottom is little more than a smudged mess of blue ink, and there's nothing Frank can do about it, but he knows for certain that the one thing he can't do is ignore this letter, and he reminds himself of that as he folds it into his pocket. It's a suicide note, Frank's stupid, but not stupid enough to brush over that fact, and whoever this person is, Frank knows that they most certainly don't deserve to die. And Frank isn't going to let them. Because he's going to find this person; he's got time now at least, and he can save them, he will save them - Frank promises himself that. But one person in a whole school, it's like a needle in a haystack, but he's got time, it's November 1st in thirty days, and he can only hope that it will be enough. He's got one month: the date is October 1st.

Gerard couldn't stop himself...He didn't want to.He just threw his head back and allowed the liquid to spark a fire in the back of his throat as he consumed it.He was losing himself more than should be humanly possible. And he didn't care. That's all he knew now. Alcohol and drugs. But without his main addiction that had been taken from him,he was slowly destroying himself. He was becoming a monster. Gerard needed Frank.

Gerard Way is the school's Norman Bates. He's freaky, he acts like he's constantly anticipating something, and he does taxidermy. People fear him, and quite honestly, he gets off on it. There are so many bad rumors circulating about him that even he isn't sure which ones are true. Meanwhile, Frank Iero has a reputation for himself. He's an idiot. A comedic one, especially with his friend James, but an idiot. He once came to school high off his ass and passed his math exam with flying colors. It was a dumb move, but an entertaining one.
