This story follows the life of a girl who lost her father at a young age. As she has gotten older she still finds it hard to cope. Having distanced herself from the world, her only comforts are her brother, her best friend and her half sister. Being hurt by someone meant to love her, she has only fallen further into a state of vulnerability and fear.
