Their undeniably eerie behavior had creeped out most of the locals. Even their appearances were freaking them out. The sharp grins. Tiny slits for eyes that glowed menacingly every performance. Not to you, though. They were somewhat... erm... attractive, in their own way. A freak you were in your own way. You weren't very special, just seen as a weird individual as a kid before everything even settled on your pretty little head. Already labeled as the weirdo by the kids your age. You didn't care. Not anymore. Maybe that's what attracted them to you. It's how different you were to the usual human personality that they were so used to. Especially him.
