Blind au, Chat/ Adrien has always been blind. Due to his good senses he can live life normally. But all that do know take pity on him and treat him like a child who needs to be protected. But Ladybug his partner doesn't know. Never having been told. His biggest fear is how his lady will react to knowing. Will the only one who acts normal around him pity him too?

Zane Ro'meave was never a person to stand in the spotlight. It was always given to his eldest brother and that made him feel... worthless. He lived most his life believing he was nothing, a waste of air, a second choice. He thought he was unloved, unwanted, uncared for so he built walls. He took care of himself and didn't let anyone in. But that soon changed. And although he no longer feels that way, his past thoughts and feelings still haunt him. Everything is catching up and he's falling deeper and deeper into darkness and it feels like no one is there to catch him. This is agnst and sadness and depression and mentions and scenes of self harm, mentions of attempted suicide, and a lot of tears. This takes place in an alternant timeline, after Starlight. Adrien Agreste is tired of it all. The beatings. The pain. The façade he must put on in front of his friends, in front of Ladybug. He cannot take it anymore. Marinette begins to notice that something is up with Adrien, and becomes worried when Chat's entire personality changes. She desperately wants to help her partner and find out what is wrong with Adrien, but she has no idea how to. Will she figure out how to save them in time? Or will she be too late?
