Tom seems to be an average student. Other than not having eyes. He doesn't really have friends, and is considered a loner. Though, he's generally left alone by bullies. Then there's Tord. He's alone on the first day of school. People either consider him a freak, or are scared of him. Or even both. They would soon meet, maybe even becoming friends.
