Brian starts staying with Roger after a fight with his girlfriend forces him out of the house (they haven't got children). They're both hurting and sort of envious of each others "perfect life" without even knowing that they're feeling the exact same way. Without knowing that everyone is feeling that way. This is just to help me with my grammar.

When John joined the band it was like Roger suddenly had the missing puzzle piece from his life just handed to him. John was mysterious, sexy and one hell of a good friend. Did Roger mention that all he wanted to do was act on these impure feelings?
