Of course he asks who it is, just to find out that it was his mortal enemy who has destroyed his home that he shared with his best friends (Edd and Matt) , killed his neighbor, and damaged his arm. His enemy Tord threatens to kill Edd and Matt if Tom doesn't join the Red army. Tord is the leader of the red army, Tom chooses that he wants his friends to stay alive so he decides to join the red army.
