Years ago, Addison's dad has an affair with a zombie and that zombie got pregnant. When she was pregnant, it was decided that the girl would live with her mother and her name would be Zara. This was the plan until Zara's mother died after Zara's birth. For the past 15 years, Zara has lived with her father, her half sister Addison, and Addison's mother, as a half zombie, with no one to connect with, up until now. Zombies are now allowed to go to school with humans and Zara has never been this happy.
