“If you love some thing, set it free.” Nash huffed, as he looked up at the white ceiling.
“What if it doesn't come back?” I asked, resting on his left shoulder.
He turned his head and said, “Some things go and don't.”
I laughed, making his eyebrows to scrunched. “What's funny?”
I swallowed, “You.”
“Pardon?” He smirked, as my face flushed.
“I.. why would I believe you?” I managed. He looked at me, cupping my face. “I'm serious.”
“Okay, that's what he said.” I playfully rolled my eyes. He nudged, “Hey, that's not a good impression of yours.”
“Yeah, whatever!” I sarcastically said, playing the strands of my auburn hair.
“Stop it!” He hissed. I stopped, “Why would I stop?”
“No, you stop! Crazy old man.” I spat back.
And with that, he didn't argue with me. He just laughed with me in the middle of the night.
