Just a cute little Merthur fic, Arthur confesses his love for Merlin over a dinner he'd prepared and they spend the the night together (basically full of fluff!) Winter falls on Camelot. It falls to Merlin to keep Arthur company as the search for Morgana becomes increasingly desperate. 6000 words, Merlin/Arthur. Set in the break between series 2 & 3. I had to make a judgement call on whether we’re dealing with Yule or Christmas in this Merlin verse. I went with Yule (there was reasoning, but I won’t bore you with it). Chapter beginnings taken from Doubt Comes In, by Anais Mitchell, from my favourite album this year Hadestown (it’s a folk opera about Orpheus and Eurydice - so that’s the very definition of not for everyone but its weird and creepy and awesome)

The Knights of Camelot think Merlin is an idiot. A talentless idiot. But they never cease to be amazed when Merlin proves them wrong.

Merthur AU - The Tournament. That's all the game is known by. It's a famous game, one where you can drink and gamble to your hearts content. But to the sorcerers who are forced to fight day after day it's more than just a game, more than just a show to watch and bet on. To them, it's a matter of life and death. A game in which you must gamble your life, whether you want to or not. When Uther Pendragon is invited by King Alden to the Kingdom of Cambria to watch the famed Tournament he's all too happy to accept. Arthur, however, doesn't share his father's enthusiasm. As the prince does all he can to keep Morgana's magic a secret from the two kings he finds someone else he needs to worry about; a contender of the tournament named Merlin.

Merlin is the lost Prince. Ok... Here is another story that I just had to write. From the beginnig it was just a one shot.. Try not to copy anyone! And my grammar is seriously bad, but I've learned a lot since I begun writing. It has been 7 years to the date since the fall of Belthan. The lost prince is currently hiding in Camelot as Arthur's manservant. Merlin was able to flee all those years ago after his uncles betrayal and he thinks Belthan is all but lost. That is until five of his previous knightly friends shows at Camelot with a plea for help. They need the assistance of Camelot to regain the kingdom, but when the knights discover their lost prince so among the Camelot group, will Merlin choose to reveal his identity to his friends and join the rebellion, or join the background. Will he be able to defeat his uncle, the current king of Belthan or will he be killed like the rest of his family, Balinor, Hunith, and His older brother Rowan. Secrets are revealed and blood is shed as this story takes some terrifying twists that will keep you on the edge of your seats until the end. DISCONTINUED
