Certain that they will no longer be bothered, Crowley and Aziraphale meet to dine at The Ritz, where they make a big decision in their lives- to move in together. What will happen when an angel and a demon both share the same house?...

Aziraphale furnished him with what was a somewhat lovely single malt Scotch, which Crowley wasted by swallowing down until it burned his throat. "Dagon. You have Dagon in your shop. Aziraphale, my oldest and best enemy, I go away for just a few decades, and you summon my line manager? You-you-" Aziraphale looked a little guilty. ***** Crowley finds out that perhaps napping for a century isn't completely without consequences. One of the consequences is apparently finding himself courting an angel who is incomprehensibly attached to the Lord of the Files and Master of Torments. Love is a worse torment than even Dagon could dream up. NOTES: The first three chapters of this were posted in some form or other in my Good Omens shorts book, but it's getting long enough to need its own book. Fake marriage! (completed and posting chapters daily) Two years before the Apocalypse, and Aziraphale and Crowley think they have the right Antichrist at last. They track him down to Tadfield. When everyone assumes they are married, Aziraphale suggests going along with it. Which is torture for a lovesick demon... Written for AstroGirl in the Just Married 2022 Exchange.

Aziraphale makes one temptation too many under the Arrangement, and is condemned to be the property of Hell. Crowley has millennia worth of soul credits unspent, enough to purchase an enslaved angel. So that's all right, then. Quite a good thing, really. No one can object to them being together if Aziraphale is officially Crowley's property. Once Aziraphale gets used to the whole slave thing and remembers Crowley would never, ever harm him, he'll realise it's all for the best, that Crowley is his saviour and liberator. They can have the kind of happily ever after Crowley always dreamed about. It's a shame about Aziraphale's powers, but Aziraphale will understand eventually, especially when he realises how much Crowley loves him and always has. It will be fine.

"Aziraphale debated internally a bit, but curling his arm up around Crowley's shoulder really was more comfortable. He knew he was being silly. He knew a dance was nothing and if it made Crowley happy after his feelings had apparently been hurt it wasn't much to ask, but-it was the demon. He had the literally infernal talent to make even the simplest, least dubious things feel like a temptation. Aziraphale knew it was Crowley's nature, and not strictly saying his fault, but it did sometimes make things feel *complicated*." Biarritz, South of France, 1921. Aziraphale stumbles on Crowley apparently working the hotels and casinos as a gigolo. At least, that's where it begins.

"The last 24 hours had been hard for the demon to forget. He had never experienced a breakup, that was such a human thing. He had always believed that he could deal with it...well, at this point, Crowley had been wrong. Utterly, utterly wrong. So, the demon found only one way to drown away all his sorrows - which finally had ended up in excessive amounts of alcohol." Aziraphale goes missing. Captured by none other than - guess who - Archangel Gabriel himself, Heaven wants to take their final revenge on Crowleys angel friend. As the demon arrives at the bookshop only to find it scattered in ruins, it's up to him rescuing his angel. Whatever it takes. Or Crowley will lose more than just the love of his eternal life...
