(Completed) When Arden Brooks takes a leap of faith to transfer to NYU with her best friend, Ava, their housing tuition falls through. The financial aid department was supposed to take care of it before the semester began, but they didn't, and now, they have nowhere to go. Arden's family is all the way back home in Michigan, and she's currently in New York City with Ava being the only person she knows. Fortunately, her best friend's dad, Hugh Jackman, offers them a place to stay with him until their housing situation gets sorted out. The thing is Arden has never met Hugh before, and now she has to share an apartment with him. She thinks it'll be fine. It'll be like living with her own parents, except it's not like that at all. Because Hugh is a very single, very attractive older man. He has only improved with age. Like a vintage that gets better with time. It doesn't help that he's tall and goofy - exactly Arden's type. But, Hugh is strictly off limits. He is her best friend's dad. He's also a whole 20 years older than her. The thing is Arden can only deny her attraction to him for so long, because the longer she lives with him, the harder it is to stay away, especially when those feelings are mutual. Rooster, along with 11 other high-achieving pilots have been specially selected to trial and perform an extremely dangerous mission, all of which are aware of what's to come... or to be more specific... Who. ______________ This fanfiction is a spin on the new "TopGun Maverick" movie. In this book, the main character is a girl, whose call sign is Raven. The love interest in this book is none other than Rooster, Miles Teller himself!
