The day Kamryn is dumped by her boyfriend, she is trapped at a crossroads: does she try to win him back, or does she give up? Todd hopes to spice up his life after meeting a high school beauty, except she doesn't know that he exists. When the two meet and discover that their love interest is the other's best friend, will they be able to work together to get what they most desire? Or will their relationship sham reveal everyone's true colors?

This is a short story fan fiction that our English teacher had us write. Now if we publish it, we get 2 points extra credit. I already have an account so...YAY! This story takes place between the first Wings of Fire book, the dragnet prophesy, and the second one, the lost heir. I haven't read the second one yet cause I waiting for the graphic novel. There are multiple characters I created (that are probably not that good) which are the icewing Sleet, the sandwing Forsake, the skywing Hawk, the mudwing Moss, and the scavengers Dust, Air, and Thorn. I hope I stayed true to character and sorry if the ending seems rushed.
