It was one of the few things Shota could look back on and smile. The mere mention of them brought a light feeling to his chest and a shine to his eyes. But secrets don't stay buried forever, as Jackson is about to discover.

The title basically describes what the book is about. One day you are an average sarcastic teenage girl the next you are being told you are a country. After being shipped off to Sweden to live with your new "family" you learn to cope with your life as a country and the people around you.
