She's kicked off to some freak school, and just when she thinks her life is about an inch from crumbling down on top of her, she meets someone. A boy. Nightcrawler, they call him. If there really was love at first sight, then that was what they had. This is a short little songfic I thought up a few days ago on a road trip and got down to writing as soon as I got home. This is the story of a girl, a mutant, who's always been treated like a freak- but then she meets a boy, also a mutant, who's lived the same story and who brings her to a home, a safe place. They quickly become best friends, inseparable, and this is their promise of everlasting friendship to one another. Also a little bit of romance at the end, because I just couldn't resist.
