This series begins with present day and tells the origin story of a young neko boy, Dan, and his partner, Phil, through reflections of the past, including the evolution of the unique and somewhat taboo relationship between and human and neko. Human/Neko, Love and Friendship, Romance, Male/Male, Lovemaking, Adversity, Social Norms, Gender Roles, and Social Issues. This is BOOK ONE in this series.

In Book Two of this series, Neko Dan and Human Phil experience parenthood for the first time with their newborn Neko son, Noah Michael. Backstories further develop the characters introduced in Book One, and new challenges arise as Dan and Phil parent their Neko child in a society that still does not see Nekos as equals despite social and legal progress. Book One should be read first for the best experience.

Dan is definitely beyond nervous to start at the prestigious boarding school, Harrison Academy. He wants to get away from the past and start a new life, where he meets his dorm mate, Phil Lester. Phil is always happy, it seems, and wants the best for everyone, but as he continues to get to know Dan, he realizes that there's something wrong with this particular boy that maybe even Dan isn't aware of. Basically a story about Phan (obviously) where Phil is in the Royal Family and Dan is his best friend... Enjoy ^.^
