I-I didn't want to-" He tried to explain, but they all just continued to insult him as they went closer, cornering him. He looked for a way out, not wanting to hurt anyone. Then a sentence he never wanted to hear in his life was thrown at him "He's just like his father." Just that sentence made him want to throw up and his body feeling numb. More offensive sentences about him and his father was thrown at him as some charged to attack, but he didn't do anything to defend himself. They was just about to slice his neck off when he did something unexpected. "Enough!" He yelled, activated his darkness, which gave off such strong force that everyone was thrown back at least 10 meters. Quickly getting up to his feet, he ran, not thinking about where he went. He ran into the forest of lost souls, the last thing he heard was someone yell "Yeah, run back to where you belong! Death!"

This is a story based off of the Seven Deadly Sins and Ever After High. Neither are owned by me. Meliodas is the son of the demon king, and as such has the same grim fate as he. Regardless of his kind personality that people ignore due to his evil father and his birthright as his son. People avoid him, mistreat him, fear him, nomatter how many times he's tried to fit in. They tell him over and over again his fate to be sealed away as his father was.. but what if he doesn't want to be like his father? He is the only one who refuses to sign in the book that will unlock his powers and seal his fate, however the consequences are quickly making him wonder if it was worth it. Elizabeth is beloved by all, a goddess both literally and metaphorically. She is the one born as pure as her mother, and as such shares the same wonderful story that is intertwined with that of Meliodas the demon. She is destined to seal the evildoer away forever with her holy magic and free the realms of his darkness. This story has already been decided for her, and is one she is prepared to do... but is he?
