Kate a young girl who was walking home one night. She was all alone since her parents died. When she was walking she meet a young man named Alec. Alec brought her home with him. Kate meets Magnus and Alec but is quit scared of both of them. Alec has met Kate before and wanted to keep her. Alec felt that her parents death was his fault and wanted to make it up to Kate. Follow the journey of Kate, Alec, and Magnus as Malec become guardians of Kate. All rights go to Cassandra Clare. I only own Kate. Enjoy

He doesn't do emotion, he doesn't do feelings, or so he thought. Novella Owens. She isn't special, at least according to her. He shouldn't have noticed the girl with the lilac colored hair, but he did. Victor should have stayed in that night. He didn't need the money from the mission, but it was a job-and he loved his job. It was supposed to be quick and easy, in and out but it wasn't. Novella had a job, everyone does in Gotham some more legal than others. She had one of the most boring jobs in the whole city, an intern at the GCPD. She shouldn't have left the room when she heard gunshots, but she did.
