☆Winner in General fiction category for Ambassadors of African Awards☆ 1st October, Nigeria's Independence day. She turns 60. Instead of writing the usual Independence story about colonial rule and fight for freedom. I decided to do something different. This book contains four different chapters of different stories that gives a glimpse into the typical life of an average Nigerian. It's short, a little witty and averagely relatable. Non-Nigerians are welcome as well. Don't worry. It's a quick read.

Despite several attempts to uncover her true identity, he was unable to find any information about her. As time passed, he found himself becoming more and more entwined with her life. When friends, co-workers, and members of their church began to question their relationship, Adedayo decided to make her his wife in order to provide a label for their cohabitation. Although he told himself that this was the only reason, he knew deep down that his feelings for her went beyond convenience. If only loving her was enough to make her his for eternity, but it wasn't. Now, Adedayo is about to learn the hard truth as their marital bliss is disrupted. *** If you enjoyed my story 'When The Sun Sets In The East', click 'read' and save it to your library.
