Ballet is a lifestyle, not a hobby. Anastasia has known that since she could walk, and has never wavered from her personal regimen of hard work, sweat, and constant practice. The way she sees it, she has an all but assured victory at the United Ballet Association Youth State Finals. Allison has spent as many hours on the balance beam as Anastasia has on the dance floor, but ballet had never really crossed her mind. Sure, she can hold a handstand on the beam for upwards of an hour, but she's never worn a tutu in her life, and she certainly can't keep a rhythm. When Allison becomes entrenched in the ballet world, the two girls will face each other head to head in a battle for recognition, glory, and the favor of a certain young man.

This is the end, she thinks to herself. "I'm here.. I'm here," are the last words she hears before her world is consumed by darkness. _________________________________________ "It's okay. She comes into his life like a tide washing away the pain. But then she gets hurt. His world is too dangerous and she is too fragile. But they need each other. Will they be able to fix each other?
