Dipper and Mabel Pines return to Gravity Falls at 16 years of age. Mabel is determined to find her soulmate now that she's finally 16, while Dipper would just like a usual summer of Gravity Falls. At first glance, it seems like another few months there, but things very quickly take a wild turn the second a strange man shows up looking for something. This soulmate AU is based on symbols. Each person's mark is related to their zodiac or any symbol that might represent them. For example, Mabel's is on her chest in the shape of a shooting star, Dipper's is a pinetree on his forehead, and Bill's is a triangle under his eye patch. This mark is invisible and only begins to glow when the person is in the presence of their soulmate- the closer they are, the brighter the glow. However, the marks only glow once the person turns sixteen of age.

Whats this? Another Billdip fanfic? YUP ------------- Imagine a world where everybody has a flower thats growing on them somewhere. It starts as a bud then grows into a flower later on. You soulmate has the same flower as you, and when your soulmate dies. A new flower grows in it's place. ------ For Dipper Pines this has been a struggle. He had the most beautiful red carnation protruding from his right shoulder. Until one day the carnation shrivled up. It didn't die completely though, the destroyed flower began to turn blue in the center and it blended outwards leaving a soft blue with grey ends. Dipper hated to think that his original soulmate had died, yet he was also confused about the mysterious flower leaving marks on his arm.

The story takes place five years after the show ends. Dipper and Mabel come back to Gravity Falls for the first time since then, and they are greeted by both friend and enemy...
