Her job is to scour the bones of the old world for any vestige of value, and to stay alive. That's the hardest part when the monsters have other plans. Taylor Ferguson & Darko Ulyanov, two closeted best friends with unrequited feelings for each other, decide to come clean before high school ends. With problems in either person's lives, will coming out be as easy as they think? ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ ♫ A Wattpad Featured Story (2018) ♫ The Wattys™ Longlisted (2018) ♫ 3rd Place in The Pride Awards (NA Romance) 2024 ♫ Winner of 15 awards--more details inside! ♫ #3 in #Love out of 1.8 million stories (9/4/2019) ♫ #1 in #GayLove out of 25.3 thousand stories (9/1/2020) ♫ Featured on 'Best of Wattpad Outreach Ambassadors' reading list ♫ Book 1 of the True Colours Collection ♫ CW: Family death, homophobia, racism, dementia ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ [Longer Blurb] Taylor and Darko, Darko and Taylor: Two lifelong best friends. The two have their differences - Taylor's a musical geek, a natural talent with the piano, and Darko's a gifted dirt-bike enthusiast - but they both share a life-changing secret. Taylor's bisexual, Darko's gay, and they are both secretly in love with each other. Over the years, the two have suppressed their feelings, cruising through high school. While it's been easy presenting as macho straight dudes, both boys are sick of the façade, each toying with the idea of coming out in their own unique ways. It's never that easy, though. They're both entangled in two complicated webs--one filled with grief and guilt and another filled with lies--and both have got to navigate through them before either can find the true happiness they seek. Sometimes, however, the silky threads of the web are more comforting than the unknown abyss below. Will they come clean about their feelings? Or will they keep a straight face until the very end? ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ This story is exclusive to my Wattpad and Patreon pages. Bob has got to be the worst vampire in the world. Without a guide to learn how to be a good vampire, he's making it up as he goes along... while holding down a day job. [Previously Featured #2 Vampire ] ***** Everything I'm about to tell you is a lie. Well, except the parts that actually happened, but I'm supposed to let you guess which those are. The parts about me being a vampire, working at a porn shop, and being completely clueless about vampires, those are completely true. Oh, the parts about Claude, my best friend for life, being a gentleman thief? All true. This is NOT a misguided and sordid tell-all about being a modern-day vampire. (wink wink) My vampire club for accidental vampires, Friends of Vlad does not exist. Neither do vampires like the terrifying and beautiful Beatrice. There is no big bad vampire boss named Harry pushing vampires into the 21st Century. Also nope about the vampire club in the heart of Toronto and a big nope on Madame Vera's House of the Not-so-dead. I'm just an ordinary guy who became a vampire. Nothing unusual about that. Nothing at all... [BOOK ONE of CHASING THE SUN SERIES] REVIEWS: @DavidJThirteen Humour has to be one of the toughest genres to get right. This book really pulls it off. Thank you for an enjoyable, entertaining read! @SharylFriend This was awesome beyond mere words!!! Should be a BESTSELLER! @Signed_Sealed_96 This has been by far the best and funniest book I've read. I love this and I can't wait to tell my friends about this b'%&hing vampire story I read nonstop.

The land of Sanitatum is said to be filled with magic, but it is also plagued by a contagious curse that threatens humanity's survival. It is the purpose of the heir to the throne, Simba Adofo, to inherit his father's crown and find a way to vanquish the curse he hates for corrupting his land. However, when he finds himself caught in a web of lies to prevent his succession, he must team up with a cursed boy named Hari to unravel his kingdom's insidious past to reclaim his crown and cure the curse once and for all. __________________________________________ With regards to friendship, family, love, and expectations, Afflicted offers a commentary on the shortcomings of reality, as well as my own anxieties about life through the lens of a fantasy world. I hope that by its completion it touches all who read it. Every week a chapter is updated, a new chapter illustration is drawn by me to accompany the story. I sincerely hope you enjoy my writing and artwork.

Incipience (\in-ˈsi-pē-ən(t)s), noun: the act or process of bringing or being brought into existence. The meteors came without warning. Hundreds of thousands of them came raining down to the Earth, but they did little damage to the planet itself. It's the people that they brought ruin to. Upon impact, the meteors combusted into this fine powder that saturated the planet in its entirety. Within a few weeks, billions grew weak, millions were sick, and hundreds of thousands were dead. That's when they came. These beings from across the stars, the Inovarians, landed on the UN's front lawn with technology capable of fixing the planet within a few weeks. People around the world celebrated until we realized what their help would cost: us. Follow Charlotte-Amalie, a teenager from the USVI, as she feigns assimilation into Inovarian society and races against the clock. She has a year of experimentation to survive through before having to face an ultimatum: be drafted into the military to fight the Inovarians' war or forced into their breeding program. With the help of a covert rebel sec of the military, Charlotte-Amalie may just be able to beat the clock in time to get her and a few of her fellow Earthlings out before the battle begins. Book 1: Chapters 1-12 (Complete, publishing with New Degree Press Winter 2021) Book 2: Ongoing (Update Hiatus to meet publication deadlines for book 1)
