"Where are you going little one?" the voice in the Mage's head questions softly. He looks around, wondering if it was his inner speech who asked or someone corporeal. He's still alone, he had been, for a few days now. "North." 453 E.Y. The cloaked figure approaches the town of Bralden steadily. His eyes are aimed at the Keep on its periphery, a structure of stone walls hiding something he had been searching for. A source of more power, most likely. Mayhaps, a conduit for corruption also? Further north, to the distant Grathorn Mountains, the cliffs and crags seem to leer with the arrival of something... something other. They could only shudder in anticipation... for now.

Its light is sold. Beneath the earth, humanity survives on Lumen - the bottled radiance of a forgotten age. The ruling elite control it. The Church sanctifies it. The poor die without it. Lucy Farrow was born in the Gloom, where people disappear without explanation and hope is a luxury nobody can afford. When a forbidden power awakens inside her, she becomes the most dangerous secret in Aurelion. The kind people kill for. The kind empires fall for. High above, Prince Cassian Soleyne discovers evidence that could unravel everything his family built. As rebellion spreads through the darkness and ancient enemies stir once more, he finds himself drawn toward the one person he should never trust. A girl who could save their world. Or burn it to the ground. ⸻ ✧ ⸻ She sat at the polished desk in the Lantern Man's office, copying names in glowing ink. "Careful with the curves, bright girl," he said. Lucy straightened her quill. "Yes, sir." He smiled. Not unkind. Just heavy. "You've got a quick hand," he murmured. "That's rare here." She tried not to smile too widely at the praise. "Say, Lucy... how is your mother?" She dipped her quill again. "She's fine, sir." "Is she now?" His cane tapped gently against the floor. Lucy nodded, focused. "Maybe I should visit her," he said. "It's been a while." That made her brighten. "Of course, mister! You're always welcome." The tapping stopped. For a moment, there was only the scratching of her quill. Then the light above her flickered before settling into a slow, steady pulse. The Lantern Man watched it carefully. "Good", he said.

| Grand Favorite in The Ambys 2025 | "His fate was the nightmare of every boy and man in these lands. The scary story told over tavern tables in hushed tones." Anaïs is the strongest witch her coven has seen in three hundred years. And with all that power, she certainly never expected that a mere man, an esclave at that, would be her undoing. But when a particularly vicious tradition within her coven brings Aiden into her life, everything changes. Amidst threats of a power-hungry human lord, and her scheming aunt Vienne, Anaïs has to prepare herself to take her mother's position as High Maîtresse. But she also has to figure out how she's going to keep Aiden alive in this hostile new environment she's put him in. Especially when everyone wants to use him to get to her. And on top of all that, there is also the mysterious rebel group laying claim from the shadows. And their enigmatic leader Etienne, whose dark secrets could shake the coven's beliefs to their very core. *Please note the title of this book has been altered from "Bound" to "Bound by Wing & Vine". Until the headache that threatened her life and the murmur that she heard in her head made her question her sanity and her ability to survive them.
