Lucas and Maya met each other in an orphanage when they were 13. As time went on the two of them got very close and they ended up falling for each other. Just as Lucas turns 17 he is adopted by a family from Texas which leaves Maya completely heartbroken until she is given the news that a family right there in the city wants to adopt her. Everything seems to be coming together so great until Maya discovers she's pregnant with Lucas baby. A/N: This fic starts off about 5 chapters or so of Flashbacks then we jump ahead!

Maya Hart becomes the babysitter to Bethany Friars 6 year old daughter McKenzie. What happens when Maya finds out that Kenzie has a cute older brother? Why doesn't he live with his mom and little sister? A simple FaceTime call leads to something so much more. A/N: I wanted to add that originally I had Lucas and Maya's ages be 16 and 17 but have decided they are both going to be 17. It suits the story better in my opinion so I have changed that. I want her and Lucas to be the same age. I'm actually going to make a chapter probably on her and Lucas upcoming 18th birthdays. I'm choosing the month to be April for Maya's and March for Lucas so they will be 18 soon.

Sequel to Fate which I suggest you all read before you start this one as Fate explains how Lucas and Maya first met as well as follows their relationship. This one follows them through college and also through Maya's pregnancy. :)

Set into the future 6 years after High School- Lucas and Maya aren't together but share custody of their 6 year old daughter Lucy Rae Friar. A relationship never worked out for them in High School but Lucy always came first so when they become friends with benefits they obviously keep it a secret. However that all changes when she ends up pregnant with Lucas unborn son.
