Stiles has frontotemporal dementia, and he's beyond help. He's got a few weeks left, and Derek stays with him. Derek is devastated when Stiles dies, but is this the last we've heard from young Stiles?

Stiles never realised how much Derek cared about him. He always thought Derek hated him, but he was wrong. He was so wrong.
