After saving Inkopolis from ultimate doom from the AI Tartar, Agent 8 finds her way to the promised land with the help of Pearl, Marina, Captain Cuttlefish, and Agent 3. With no where to really go Agent 3 decides to move in to Inkopolis Square with 8 just as friends. Things unravel between the two and they begin to grow feelings for each other. Octo Expansion spoilers are obviously here, and I hope you enjoy!

Male Agent 8 x Female Agent 3 After the Tartar's disastrous attempt to destroy Inkopolis Square and the remaining species on earth, Agent 8 finally arrives on the surface. Unfortunately, suspicion levels are high among the Inklings so he has trouble being accepted by them and getting accustomed to their lifestyle. Agent 3 takes interest in Agent 8 and decides to help him on his journey in getting used to his new life in Inkopolis Square. Along the way, Agent 8 slowly begins to have feelings for his new friend. NOTE: -Events take place after Octo Expansion and during Splatoon 2. -Names are agent 8 and agent 3 for the first chapter - The story begins to develop more plot in the middle. After going through the grueling missions in the Deepsea Metro, Agent 8 (Mike) finally makes it to the "Promised Land." He then finds himself facing discrimination for being an Octoling. Agent 8 finds by coincidence Agent 3 (Sarah), who provides him with a place to stay until he was able to get on his feet again. The duo slowly start to fall in love with each other, but stop themselves from doing so. After all, everyone will disapprove of their relationship.

(Agent 3 x Agent 8) Agent 3 wakes up on a platform. What does she see? A handsome face. Though, she won't admit it.

The world needs more Octo Expansion love. I'm here to make that happen. Agent 8 woke up with amnesia in the middle of a subway platform. Standing over him was an old captain, who went by Cuttlefish.The old man urges 8 to explore, and with nothing better to do, 8 gets up and presses foreward. He reaches a laboratory, and then realizes that he and the captain aren't alone.

Sadly, Agent 8 knows absolutely nothing about his past. He can barely even recall his own name! So with the help of Agent 3, Agent 8 began to live his new life as a Octoling living in Inkopolis. He even began to regain some of his memories, some of them happy and peaceful. Some destructive and depressing. He keeps those memories to himself however, he doesn't want to be more of a bother than he thinks he is. Agent 3, on the other hand, felt somewhat in debt to the Octarian Agent. He did save her from that horrifying mind controlling device, not to mention saved the world from ultimate destruction, as she once did a couple years back. She took Agent 8 under her wing and helped him start anew, which he is forever grateful for. However Agent 8 has begun to feel sick and he has begun to hallucinate from the nightmares, concerning Agent 3. That's not the horrifying part however. Tartar left it's mark on Agent 8, and that mark is spreading. Later the two agents begin to feel much more than just gratitude towards each other, but could they? They're species have been at war for almost a century. Could sworn enemies have feelings for one another? I don't own Splatoon. All rights go to Nintendo, but you probably knew that.
