Summer Jacobs knew full well about her town’s tradition. Every year at the end of the summer, a party would be held on school grounds without the knowledge of the parents or the teachers. It had been happening since before Summer was born and never once was anyone the wiser. This year however, everyone was going to find out. Summer had planned a weekend of alcohol, bad decisions and horrendous photo’s which she would later un-tag herself from on Facebook. A whole weekend with her friends at the biggest party of the year, without any worries or parents telling her what to do. So how she ended up trapped in the school with a deranged psycho killing her classmates off one by one, she will never know. It wouldn’t have been as bad if she was trapped on her own. She would have been happier to face the lunatic solo rather than be trapped with a guy who kept using the life or death situation to make passes at her. His theory was being so close to death should definitely loosen her up, and by ‘loosen up’ he definitely meant ‘get naked.’ Along with his friends who between them had the IQ of a baby tree stump, an outcast who probably still had Spiderman bed sheets and the cheerleaders who were more worried about all the blood staining their new white jeans, they had to somehow make it out of there alive. And to think, Summer’s biggest worry that weekend was waking up with a brutal hangover… ©makeandoffer

(CURRENTLY BEING EDITED, SO IF YOU SEE SOME POV CHANGES, CHILL, I KNOW WHAT IM DOING, I THINK) For someone with pre-destined expectations for herself, April couldn't say she could've possibly predicted the scenarios she'd found herself thrown into; involving a highly aggressive, not to mention abusive Uncle as her guardian, and the supernatural- cough, asshole, cough- entity she'd acquired after a not-so pleasant high school party with her new friends. Who all, of course, don't know of the secrets which April keeps hidden behind closed walls. Suddenly, things didn't seem to be going as great as April had hoped. With new hurdles being added at every corner; all of which too high for her to jump. She'd never been all that good at athletics anyway. But, little did she know how far she'd sprint, just to escape the foes chasing her heels, tracking her every movement, yearning for her head on a silver spike. With her issues placed as her main priorities, April begins to juggle both kinds of transitioning; adolescence...and becoming the beast that prowls the night, tearing the town apart, searching for its prey. As secrets and truths unfold, the more she questions whether her friends should be so close to her, consequently endangering their lives to secure hers. And, not to mention the unconditional feelings for the blue-eyed fugitive with a treacherous past. She's becoming less and less willing to lose any of them. Him especially. She'd loved and she'd lost many times, and April promised herself to never delve into those clear, beautiful waters of security and warmth she'd longed to swim in. She wasn't prepared for the journey ahead of her, but she was certainly sure of one thing; She would not lose him. Even if it meant losing herself in the process, she couldn't let him go. Their attraction was undeniable. He had her heart fluttering. Then again, what's love without a little drama, action, love-triangles and heartbreak? All rights reserved.
