After the war ended, Harry Potter was ready to live a completely normal - well, as normal as things could be when you're a wizard war-hero - life. He surely deserved it. But, of course, trouble never fails to find him. Just when Harry thought he'd gotten his wish, mysterious forces whisk him off to a parallel world. A parallel world completely overrun by war, where people he knew to be dead are up-and-kicking, and worst of all, he is believed to be Voldemort's most fearsome and loyal Death Eater ... that everyone thought was dead as a doornail until he arrived. Now, Harry must find his way through another war, a deadlier one, all while confronting the hurt faces of his lost loved ones. Just the kind of vacation he needed, right? (Obviously, all rights go to J.K Rowling. Just writing a fanfic here. I'll explain more in the introduction, but this is also an AU - just a different kind that probably has a term I don't know.)

A story in which James, Lily, and Sirius come back to life while a seventeen-year-old Harry is out hunting for Horcruxes. With a war raging and their son and godson smack in the middle of it, the three must put all their resources and abilities together to reunite with and save Harry Potter, all while piecing together the very confusing and dangerous life he has led without them. However, with almost no one seeming to know (or, in some cases, be alive to know) about the return of Lily, James, and Sirius, they quickly find themselves on their own, with Potterwatch broadcasts and questionable Daily Prophet newspapers as their only guide. On top of that, Harry himself isn't making it any easier for them, as he's constantly moving around and popping up in unpredictable places. Without knowing it, Harry Potter had created the most extreme game of Wack-A-Mole ever. ---- This story all began with this one idea I'd had while reading fanfics.
