Being the girlfriend of the city's favorite superhero wasn't as always as glamorous as the label sounded. It came with stress, loneliness, keeping secrets, and knowing that he might miss date night while saving someone's life. For Adriana, these issues weren't important as she fell in love with Midnight Hour, the city's number one super, long before he even had powers. With the arrival of a new villain in town though, she suddenly finds herself trapped with a whole different kind of super making her question everything she thought she had known about love, herself, and what it actually meant to be the bad guy.

You know what's the next biggest thing since the birth of our universe? The dawn of the second one... It's time to reset, and start over from where everything went wrong. A new world open for everyone. Clear skies, unknown oceans, and virgin land, yet to be tainted by the hands of man, awaiting for someone to claim as their own. An immortal, all-knowing artificial intellect as the judge, humanity has finally arrived at the point where everyone gets a new change. Though how much you'd gain from it, would be up to you and you alone... That being said, the current "normal" was not needed anymore. Power belongs to those who seek it, not for themselves, nor for their friends, but for the cause of ultimate justice, whether it was a middle school mage or an archer with no sense of decency, who achieved it... At least that is what the main character, Hael believes in. Unlike the norm, this time we wont be following any righteous heroes climbing their way up to the top of the ladder, growing through bitter defeats while shouldering the hopes of their people. This time, we'll see the "wrong side of the story". An outcast from the old world to whom defeat, is no more an option. A character who refuses to be second to none and by making the impossible possible, fights for the right to sit on the throne awaiting at the far end of the race. And make no mistake, when that happens, and it will happen, humanity wont be the race receiving favors. After all... every great story, needs a great villain.
