Sasuke had long given up. Between a tragedy and a death, he'd gladly choose the second. War was said to have changed people; yet they didn't specify how much it would remake a person's perception of life. Death had taken its toll, life seemed to vanish from every nook and cranny of the world, and fate simply toyed with him as her last doll, her last marionette to control. The flame that used to empower his will flickered. But, under a circumstance wherein he could alter and completely disregard fate, maybe it would burn brightly once more.

War is a terrible thing, but sadly most shinobis had to live with it. Sasuke Uchiha, a man who has lost all those who were close to him during their latest war. The 5th Shinobi War. This war had taken away his best friend, wife, daughter, and his will to live. What happens when he was about to die he was give another chance at life by Hagoromo/The Sage of Six Paths. He declined at first because he didn't believe he deserved a second chance, but the sage seeing how Sasuke did in fact want to go back in time, he despite the Uchiha declining, took him into the past anyway. Will he use this second chance to make things better? Or will he just give up.

The war isn't over, even after they defeated Kaguya, after they barely won against Madara and Obito dead after he sacrificed his life. Zetsu is still in the run and leaving death and despair in his wake, and Kaguyas earth killing final Justu proving to be unstoppable, Naruto, Shikamaru and Sasuke travel to the past. With the help of the Ancient summons of Shikkatsu forest and 2 of the legendary sannin, it's made possible. Naruto travels back in time when Hiruzen Sarutobi is the Third Hokage. He tries fixing stuff that don't lead up to the Eye of the Moon Plan Or the unsealing of Kaguya. The events take place after Second Shinobi World War and 1 Years before the Third Shinobi World War . But he is reawaken as a Younger Version of Uchiha Madara.

After the war with Kaguya, Team 7 has lost everything, including their beloved sensei. So in order to fix things, Naruto decides to follow Kurama's advice and finds an old, old scroll at the bottom of the ocean. Naturally, Naruto asks Sasuke to activate it, and the broody Uchiha is sent back into the past. If it were only that, maybe Sasuke wouldn't be so pissed at Naruto. But the damned justu is doing something to his brain, and causing him to say all sorts of weird stuff. How the heck is he supposed to fix everything if his mouth won't stop spitting out insults like a teenage girl??
